The 2013 Wild Horse Central Coast Pinot Noir has aromas of ripe cherry, pomegranate, and a hint of rosemary. This wine has lush flavors of strawberry pie on the palate, unfolding into a rich, velvety finish.
Beautifully bright acidity allows this wine to pair with a wide range of fare; from grilled salmon, to roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and sage stuffing, or my personal favorite fried chicken and waffles with béchamel.
With aromas of fresh strawberries and pepper, this Zinfandel is reminiscent of cooler climate Zinfandel, but has a richness that the east side of Paso Robles offers. Strawberry and raspberry flavors lead in to dried figs with hints of spice and vanilla.
