Betty & The Boy, plus Ynana Rose, Julian Temple, and Ray Tarantino

Commentators who like to keep things neatly slotted into place have struggled with Betty and The Boy, precisely because they defy simple categorisation. Though the band’s string-laden melodies occasionally anchor them in the territories of folk, bluegrass, or minimalist rock, they’re more at home in the cracks in-between. Learn more about Betty & The Boy at their website: http://bettyandtheboy.com.

Songwriters At Play promotes live music events at many Central Coast venues. Their showcases will be held twice-monthly on Saturday afternoons at Wild Horse Winery. There's no cover charge, although we pass the tip bucket for our featured artist. All ages are welcome. For more about Songwriters At Play: www.songwritersatplay.com.

April 12th at 10:30am in Triples Alley at AT&T Park

First pitch is at 1:05pm.

Tickets are limited, and are available on a first come, first-served basis. $125 per person. Please call Shanti at (877) 967-2100 for ticket reservations. Tickets are non-refundable.

Carolyn Mescher

Carolyn Mescher was born and raised in Camarillo, California, about an hour outside of Los Angeles. Being an active member of 4-H, raising steers and riding horses, being the President of the Young Cattlemen’s Association of Ventura County, and growing up singing in the barn, Carolyn is definitely not what most think of when they hear of a Southern Californian. That’s what she grew up with though and it’s what gives her a unique sound of rocking country and her tough and independent attitude. Learn more about Carolyn Mescher at her website: http://www.carolynmescher.com.
