2013 Wild Horse Floyd Rosé Central Coast
Grapes were handpicked and delivered to the winery. Although Cab Franc and Sangiovese are known as red wine grapes, they were made in a white wine style. These grapes were pressed off of skins immediately and the juice went to a stainless steel tank. Free run was separated from hard press and treated separately. After a day of settling, the juice was racked off of solids to another tank where it was yeast inoculated. After a cool fermentation upon dryness, the wine aged in tank until blending and bottling.
